I WANT YOU TO TRAIN ME BUT I AM OUT OF STATE; DOES THAT WORK?
Yes! We use an app to monitor assessments, deliver workout programs, show exercise demonstrations, and so much more for those who want an economical solution. (We make sure you can safely move before giving any exercises so that it is just as safe as real-time.) We also offer real-time sessions over Zoom.
WHERE DO YOU TRAIN CLIENTS OUT OF?
We train real-time clients out of gyms or your home.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I LIFT WEIGHTS?
You should lift weights at least 3-4 times a week, making sure to give yourself an active recovery day in between for muscles worked to repair themselves. Vigorous cardio for 50 minutes on days you’re not lifting is advised for those looking to lose weight (examples include bike, elliptical, swimming, running).
WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE PEOPLE TO WORK WITH?
Like all trainers, we enjoy working with all who are looking to lose weight, improve health, increase strength, and/or improve athletic performance. On top of that we enjoy working with retiree age individuals, cancer patients, and pre & postpartum clients!
I AM SORE AFTER WORKING OUT, WHAT CAN I DO TO RELIEVE MUSCLE SORENESS?
Make sure you get some protein in you after working out, use an ice pack on sore areas if needed, and keep exercising (movement is good for helping to relieve soreness).
WHO ARE YOU CERTIFIED WITH?
We are certified with NASM, Silver Sneakers, AFAA, & Zumba.
WHAT SETS YOU APART FROM OTHER TRAINERS?
Not only do we try to make exercise fun, but we have extensive knowledge of anatomy (especially cardiac anatomy), physiology (especially exercise physiology), biomechanics, exercise and special populations (older adults and those with disabilities), motor behavior, resistance training for health, exercise and childhood, and sports psychology to name a few college courses.
DO YOU EVER OFFER FREE SESSIONS?
We do! We have several tiers. One free real-time individual session for every two new referrals who book a real-time individual session, two new referrals who book together for small group training and purchase two real-time sessions in one order, or two new referrals who book the monthly individual app package. One free week of real-time training (3 sessions) for every two new referrals who book the monthly real-time package or for every new referral who books the real-time quarterly package. One free month of real-time training (12 sessions) for every two new referrals who book the real-time quarterly package. Two free months of real-time training (24 sessions) for every five new referrals who book the real-time quarterly package. One free real-time quarterly package (36 sessions) for every 10 new referrals who book the real-time quarterly package. One free month of individual app training for every two new referrals who book individual app training. **Can wait to redeem an offer if wanting a particular one, but offers cannot be combined.**
DO YOU EVER OFFER DISCOUNTS OR SPECIALS?
We don’t typically offer discounts or specials, nor do we lock rates for clients after discounts or specials end (and prices do occasionally increase), but we do offer sessions with associate trainers overseen by Marianne for those looking for more economical in-person options.
